All About Ali
Ali Birston is in her fourth year at the Sauder School of Business majoring in Marketing with a concentration in Sustainability. She has played an active role within the Sauder community having held positions such as the Vice Chairperson of the Me Inc. Conference, a member of the business strategy case competition team for JDC West 2012, and the runner-up in a national university marketing competition called The Recruit.
She has always had a passion for creating positive social change and was able to use her business skills to do exactly that as a business development intern at non-profit organization in the small town of Phalaborwa, South Africa after her 2nd year. This past summer she was fortunate enough to work as a brand management intern for Lululemon, and aspires to return there to work after graduation.
In her spare time she loves to dance, practice yoga, travel to new exotic places and is known by friends and family for being a hardcore foodie.
