When you look in the mirror, what do you see? Perhaps you see an athlete, a professional hockey forward or a competitive soccer nut seeking the

chance for glory. Or maybe you see a confident public speaker and the undisputed champion of debate in your household, attempting to establish yourself as the next Attorney General of the Allard School of Law. You might see a trivia mastermind, a veteran designer and creative genius, a performer itching to get on stage, a diabolic tech geek and business leader, or just someone who wants to get involved and make the most out of their law school journey.

Look no longer. Whomever you see, we want you on the Allard Law Games team.

The Law Games is the single largest national law student event held in Canada. Each year, law students gather at a

host law school to participate in a variety of events, including academic and athletic competitions, a talent show, a moot, trivia competitions, formal receptions, and social challenges. Over 600 law students from more than 12 different law schools across the country participate with the hopes of winning the coveted Law Games Trophy and Spirit Cup. UBC Allard School of Law is a historical powerhouse and beloved team among the champions of the Games, and we’re set on keeping it that way.

In this multi-day event, you will be challenged mentally and physically while the limits of your comfort zone get put to the test. In the face of 600+ other law students, you and your teammates will experience times of exhaustion, of complacency, and of overwhelming support in the community. Not only will you get to meet some of the most talented (and attractive) law students from across the nation, you will get to network and become life-long friends with aspiring legal practitioners in all areas of law.

The UBC Allard Law Games team invites you to the 2019 Law Games. Charlie and Dylan, your Co-Captains for 2019, will be hosting an info- session in fall. If you’re curious to find out more about the 2019 Law Games taking place in January, do not hesitate to contact them via Facebook or email.
