This Module describes how global Sustainable Forest Management issues are linked to national level policies and plans related to implementation. It outlines the recent developments in nine forest policy issues under discussion at international levels in different forums over the last two decades, then closes with two of the most recent ones (2014-2015) namely: The Landscape approach to SFM and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s).
As these global issues are under constant review, this Module will be updated as new developments emerge, but certainly on an annual basis.
