About me
Email: bader@ece.ubc.ca
I am an adjunct professor at the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UBC. I am also a Software System & Safety Engineer at Critical Systems Labs, Vancouver, BC. I received my Ph.D. and MASc degrees from UBC, and my BSc from Jordan University of Science and Technology, all in Computer Engineering.
My research interests revolve around resource allocation in real-time compute systems, as well the safety thereof. In particular, I am interested in exploring the theoretical underpinnings of real-time and dependable systems, with particular emphasis on the design and analysis of task scheduling algorithms and rigorous safety mechanisms. I look at both deterministic and probabilistic models of real-time systems.
