Summer TA positions are separate from the winter session positions. Grad students receive an email in the spring indicating which courses are available and how to apply. Because summer courses are often condensed and intensive, priority is given to TAs who have already taught the course during the winter session.
Before TAing in any course, especially in the summer, it is appropriate to check with your supervisor.
