UBC Insiders

September 15, 2009 | 3:28 pm in Featured by Enej

UBC Insiders was started by Tim Louman-Gardiner and Gina Eom in January 2007 as part of the Voter Funded Media contest. Why did they start it? Boredom, a sincere belief in the relevance of the AMS to the lives of UBC students, and the philosophy and funding behind VFM. Shortly after the 2007 AMS elections, Maayan Kreitzman joined up as UBC Insiders became an established source for discussion of issues in and around UBC. As earlier writers were lost due to graduation, new writers Blake Frederick and Maria Jogova joined on to continue covering campus. UBC Insiders was re-launched in September 2009 with the current editorial team.
