With so much content floating about, it’s going to be very important to keep things organized! The best way to do that is always make sure you categorize your post correctly. To keep things simple, use only categories, not tags.
Here are a list of the predetermined categories:
- Residence Life
- Involvement / Leadership
- Careers / Work
You can also add your own categories and use those on your posts, but please make sure to use at least one of the above ones as well. Since WordPress allows you to assign a post to more than one category and most of the time, this is the way to go.
Using the categories properly will make for easy navigation, and is really important since your posts will be pulled to different partner sites according to content (i.e. LEAP pulls all posts categorized as “academic”).
