facilitator/speaker

As I develop my teaching abilities, I feel compelled to facilitate opportunities for others to do the same. As is true about teaching, I often learn as much from facilitating as I do from participating. The broad aim of all of these initiatives is to help everyone in our department and university to develop as educators for their current and future roles (including mentor, teaching assistant, instructor), ultimately in the interest of fostering student learning.
