The New PubMed Interface – ‘Take 2″

new-pubmedThe National Library of Medicine launched the new PubMed interface <http://pubmed.gov> earlier this week, had some heavy traffic difficulties (reverted back to the old site and then went live again, seemingly permanently) yesterday.

The article at the NLM Technical Bulletin provides a snapshot of all the changes:

  1. A much more streamlined homepage – <http://pubmed.gov>
  2. Tabs are gone – no Limits, Preview/Index, History, and Details (functions are under Advanced Search)
  3. Display options – Brief, Citation, and AbstractPlus views are gone, but MeSH & LinkOut are in Abstract view

It appears that the “send to” link is broken. I am trying to export a list of references to RefWorks, and I believe this link is necessary.
