Molly Babel
Prof. Molly Babel teaches speech perception and production in the UBC Dept. of Linguistics. She focusses on cross-linguistic and cross-dialectal inquiry, including the role of experience and exposure to phonetic and phonological knowledge.

Amanda Cardoso
Dr. Amanda Cardoso researches language variation and change involving historical socio-cultural contexts, including language variation and change due to changes in populations. Her work includes studies of the English language, as well as work with Tlingit and ʔayʔaǰuθəm.

Bob Pritchard
Prof. Bob Pritchard teaches music technology in the UBC School of Music. He has a particular interest in gesture tracking systems in music performance, involving audio sampling/synthesis and video manipulation. He has also been involved with gesture-controlled performative speech synthesis, using formant and articulatory systems.
