There is a blog just for your Sauder Business course. If there is more than one section of this course, there will be a blog just for that section. In that blog there is a “Student Blogroll” that will list all the student blogs in your course (or section, if multiple sections). Students and instructors will be able to click on any student’s name to view their blog. But first you must add your blog URL to the list.
You may view a video tutorial below or follow these instructions:
- From your own blog, copy the URL. It will be http://blogs.ubc.ca/username, where username is the one you chose when you created the blog.
- Navigate to your section’s blog. It will be something like http://blogs.ubc.ca/comm101sec101. Your instructor will provide you with the URL.
- On the right side of the page, fill in the three blanks under Add your Blog URL as follows:
- Under Link URL, you will put the URL of your own blog, as per step 1. above.
- Enter your Lastname, then comma, then space, then Firstname. e.g. Einstein, Albert. This is what will be displayed in the list of blogs.
- Enter the password provided to you by your instructor or TA.
- Click on the Add Blog URL button.
- Check the Student Blogroll on the right side of the page. Confirm that your name appears and that the link works.
If you make a mistake, please email Dr. Blog at drblogubc@gmail.com and let the doc know what needs fixing!

how do i obtain the password provided by my TA?
Go to the blog for your section and you will see a message from your TA. Email your TA and ask for the password. Your blog URL would be http://blogs.ubc.ca/comm101sec101/ if you were in Section 101. If you cannot get it then email me and I will give it to you. Hope you enjoy the course!
