I can’t wait to share this with my son! From a hypermedia/remediation perspective, it is quite marvellous how intertextual this remix is, particularly if you compare it to the original Queen video (and who wouldn’t want to spend a bit more time listening to Bohemian Rhapsody on a rainy day?!)

Oh sorry! The link takes you to the same clip! I put that on first because I was concerned the embedded link wouldn’t work. Then I thought maybe some people would prefer it due to downloading speeds being varied and Vista having a tendancy to “boot” us now and again.

Generally, I find great microcontent on various news and (the shame…) pop culture blogs. However, I really watch for content that relates to MET in some way. I thought the clip where the grumpy men state “We finally found our place” was a great homage to the classic “Nobody knows your a dog on the Internet”. I saw a great cartoon with a dog using a web cam and thinking “Now they know I’m a dog!” but I forgot to bookmark the link…ah well!

Erin that was great fun! I used to sing that with my daughter in the car when we got silly. I sent the link to her. She’ll have a great time explaining it to her Nicaraguan friends. Maybe they’ll sing it all the way back to Toronto on the plane.

Is there another link at the top of your post that isn’t working? Or is it just the same link to Youtube?

Where do you find this stuff? It’s just terrific!
