Our Co-coordinator Matthew Whiteman presented this poster at the Canadian Conference on International Health in Ottawa (Nov 25th – 28th, 2009). We enjoyed a warm reception at the CCIH and found that there were other projects and research papers there identifying the same need for emphasizing ethics in international service learning in institutions across Canada. Through the CCIH, we have established connections with groups at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Memorial University in Newfoundland and Mount Royal University in Alberta; we are now a part of a National Community of Practice for EIESL!
