Let's Get Focussed

Welcome to the let’s focussed workshop.

This workshop was designed for fourth form (15 years old) integrated science students and as such does not go into depth with the concepts as it would for a subject such as physics.

It is intended that after completing the activities of this workshop the students must generate solutions to problems. They are then free to compare their solutions with those from other sources and make adjustments where they see fit.

Objectives

Students will be required collaborate on activities to determine:

1. How focussing brought about in;
   1. A camera;
   2. The eye;

Material List.

1. Computers with an internet connection and Microsoft word
2. Lens holders
3. Convex lenses of different thickness
4. Screens
5. Christmas tree lamps/Candle 
6. Skype
7. headphones
8. An MSN skydrive account.
9. Firefox or internet Explorer (Skydrive does not work on chrome)
