Ida Karimfazli

I have moved to Concordia University. You can find my new homepage here.

I got my PhD at the University of British Columbia in the Department of Mechanical Engineering where I worked with Ian Frigaard. I was also a member of the Institute of Applied Mathematics (IAM) at UBC. A copy of my thesis can be found here.
I got my MS at Stanford University working in Juan Santiago’s lab, and my BS at the University of Tehran.
I’m interested in fluid dynamics, especially in hydrodynamics of complex fluids. I enjoy investigating natural phenomena using mathematical modeling along with analytical and numerical techniques.
