You’ve heard it from family, friends, and probably just about everyone you meet – what are you going to do with your IR degree? Explore your career options and opportunities within the field of IR at the IRSA Career Night. This year IRSA is excited to present discussions among panellists from areas as diverse as the Department of National Defence, World Bank, UNESCO, academia, and more. The event will include a moderated question period as well as an opportunity for an informal networking session.

The event is taking place in Thursday, March 24th, from 5-8pm at IKB Room Lillooet 301. Tickets are only $5 when purchased in advance at the IRSA office in the SUB, and are available from Monday March 14th.

Tickets are limited, so be sure to get yours quickly! Your ticket purchase includes both refreshments and free admission to the official launching of the IRSA Journal of International Affairs, which is happening on the same night.

The IRSA JIA publishes outstanding undergraduate research from UBC students and the 21 other partner universities. It is the foremost opportunity for students at UBC to show their academic excellence to their UBC community and the world, and stands as one of the few peer reviewed academic journals in the country.
