BCIT’s Library Services is seeking a temporary, part-time (0.20) Librarian to fulfill the responsibilities of the Science Liaison Librarian at the Burnaby Campus Library, as well as other campuses if needed.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Foster and engage collaboration with faculty, programs, and external associations.
Teaching library research skills at a post-secondary level.
Science subject specific reference and research consultations, as well as general reference services.
Collection development, including selection and analysis of print and electronic resources supporting curricular priorities and research needs.
Creation of research and resource guides, including LibGuides on specific topics and for classes as needed.

TERM OF APPOINTMENT: August 21, 2017 to August 17, 2018.
SALARY RANGE: $51,660 to $90,488 per annum.
Prorated based on percentage and term of appointment.
Salary based on education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
