This position is in the community Engagement and Programs department of the UBC Library’s Irving K Barber Learning Centre (IKBLC) and will primarily support the work of the Indigitization Program (Indigitization.ca). We are looking for a talented graduate or upper years undergraduate student to translate existing video media, photos, and copy content into community-friendly digital bites that elicit engagement from current, former, and prospective B.C. Indigenous community participants. The Digital Community Engagement Assistant will use a variety of media to communicate about the program, including print, social media, web, and audio visual.
