Job Description Summary
Responsible for the Transamerica Records & Information Management (RIM) program. Leads the RIM team and articulates the vision for RIM in support of the organization’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities
- Partner with internal stakeholders to manage and direct the active/inactive systems and record centers, independent of media (physical and electronic).
- Develop and implement enterprise level policies and retention schedules to ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and business obligations.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure the RIM process and compliance standards are implemented and continuously improved.
- Facilitate on-going training and communications.
- Provide direction and input for enterprise projects involving RIM.
- Manage program costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Eight years of experience, including document creation/storage and electronic media storage, and retrieval.
- Leadership skills.
- Ability to manage and direct change.
Preferred Qualifications
- Supervisory experience.
- Experience in records retention and scheduling within the life insurance/financial industry.
- Communication and relationship building skills.
- Analytical skills.
- Time management skills.
