Hey everyone, my name is Jake and I’m pretty sure I’m the last among you to do this introduction. Why? Well because I’m just the kind of person who won’t say hi until the first week of midterms.
I decided to go into Arts One because it sounded fairly interesting to me, and it didn’t hurt that I’ve always enjoyed reading and writing. As far as what I’m hoping to get out of the course, it’s mostly a desire to become a better writer and read some of the most well-renowned books in existence.
In addition to reading and writing, I also enjoy T.V. and movies, so much so that I’m hoping to one day become a somewhat successful writer/director/producer. I’ve also recently taken up boxing so if I ever come to class with a black eye that’ll be the reason, not because I “slipped in the shower”.
