As you heard, some valuable items were stolen from my shop. I was contracted to make several mithril daggers for a wealthy Elven prince and the raw ore was stolen before I could start my work. The value of the ore is several years wages and if I don't recover it, my family will surely be indentured for a generation or two. I will make it worth your while to recover the ore for me.
''Max'': I have dealt the the vermin before. This will be easy. What does the job pay?
''Blacksmith'': I will pay you 200 Gold Pieces and will give you free smithing for the next five years.

As you enjoy your beverage you take a moment to observe your surroundings. There have been goblins roaming the forest behind the town and many valuable items have gone missing. You see three other people of interest in the tavern. Who do you approach?

You have a tankard and talk about the weather. [[He send you away when he realizes that you're not that interesting. -> Drink is Served]] The Hlaf Orc demmands that you have a drinking competition with him.
[[You pass out. -> Better luck next time!]] It turns out that she is an emissary sent on behalf of the Elf Prince to find the stolen Mithril ore. She knows the Goblins are only after weapons and would gladly trade the Mithril for 20 swords and spears to fight rival warg tribes.
[[You can use this information to your benefit. -> Drink is Served]] [[The elf is obviously bothered by your approach and waves you away. -> Drink is Served]] It turns out that the Half Orc is her body guard. She is offended by your approach and [[asks him to throw you out. -> Better luck next time!]] You enter the Blacksmith Shop.

Before long, there is a fork in the road. One trail leads left, the other right. Which way do you go?

Through the trees, you see smoke rising and hear the low hum of Goblin chatter. By your estimate, there are no more than 4 or 5 of them.
