I’m from Sir Winston Churchill Secondary, a secondary school in Vancouver. Hopelessly crowded, the school had to stop accepting transfer students as of last year. I was also in this program (which shall remain nameless because of the painful memories it brings). All you need to know is that it was fun while it lasted (which was a VERY short time), but overall, two years of my life was spent stressing out on all-nighters and countless tests/projects/hw/orals/presentations/case studies/field studies/labs/essays/extended essay (this deserves its own category)/reading/volunteering… (I haven’t stopped, I just don’t remember because I was traumatized)
Just FYI, I rarely (if ever) post/update on weekends… because nothing really happens on the weekends for me, at least during the school year.
Going on a backpacking trip in Europe sounds absolutely WONDERFUL : ) so is breaking into Handel’s house.
Yes. THE program shall remain nameless.
“I hope to one day go on a backpack trip in Europe and visit classical composers’ homes and see their original scores of their compositions. And play the harpsichord.”
LOL that’s awesome! Reminds me when we used to listen to violin concertos during math class xD Best of luck in breaking into Handel’s house!
Great blog Kelvin! Lol @ Vian’s comment about the nameless program. Je suis d’accord!
