Video Mashup

 

11:53 to 12:20 shows a Final Net commercial – this ad pointedly states that it is a non-aerosol product, highlighting it as its main selling feature. It is using female stereotypes of femininity to sell the product, perhaps alluding to the first ‘green consumer stereotype‘. This reel from the 1970’s connects the entire mashup. It is my hope that by addressing the start of green consumerism, which plays to an individuals emotions about human health and the environment, it can expose the truth about these non-green products, which are usually most harmful to women and children.
