MAIN FLOOR
Circulation Desk staff will help you with information relating to the circulation of books (signing in/out, placing holds, renewing books) and helping to find material in the online catalogue.

Lost & Found
Reserve Room contains materials that you will use frequently:
• Key texts in all subject areas – loan period is generally 2 hours
• Course readings organized by course number
• Old exams
• Photocopier
• Online catalogue
• Current journals
Journals most of the bound journal volumes are located on this floor; older volumes are located in the compact storage area on the bottom floor.
Serials List located throughout the Library provide easy access to call numbers for journals and law reports in the Law Library.
Reference Desk staff can help you with your research. Ref Desk is staffed from 10:00 – 5:00 weekdays, from 12:00 – 5:00 on Saturday.
Reference collection includes legal encyclopedias and digests, legal directories and dictionaries, and other essential legal research materials.
Dictionary stand
Citation stand provides legal abbreviation “decoders”; citation guides
Display racks contain useful handouts
Online catalogues – near entrance & in middle of main floor; most computer workstations are equipped with Microsoft Office.
Print/Download Station allows you to print results of anything that can be seen on the browser
Photocopiers – in alcove behind the reference area
Copycard Vending Machine is located at the entrance to the library. Funds can be added to cards using the same machine. [these cards do NOT work for computer lab printers]
Microform Room – microfiche, microfilm, and a reader/printer
TOP FLOOR
Law Reports;Statutes and Regulations access by call number found in the online catalogue or serials list
Internet Access Ports and Wireless access are available throughout this Library.
Photocopier is located on the SOUTH side of the west stairwell.
Carrels can be used by anyone unless there is a sign indicating that it is assigned to a Law graduate student.
BOTTOM FLOOR
General Textbook collection – we are re-classifying the law materials so pay close attention to call numbers and signage. If you can’t find what you need, ask at either the Circulation or Reference desk.
Asian law collection – materials in the vernacular and in English.
Compact Shelving – publicly accessible.
Computer Lab is operated by the Faculty of Law. The printers require a Faculty of Law print card, there is a vending machine in the Lab for purchasing print cards.

Interlibrary Loans – if you need a journal article, case or statute that is not available here, refer to the law library webpage under Interlibrary Loans.
A friendly reminder – Our Food & Drink Policy states that there is no eating allowed in the library. Spillproof plastic bottles or closed spillproof travel mugs may be used for drinks.
