The GSS and the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies is carrying out a qualitative study of graduate students’ perceptions of mentoring. We will be exploring graduate students’ perspectives on mentoring to inform and improve mentoring as an integral part of teaching and learning at UBC. We’d now like to invite you to participate in this study and share your experiences and perspective with us. GSS Opportunities: – Apply to become a UBC Sustainability Scholar this summer! In collaboration with on-campus and off-campus sustainability partners, the UBC Sustainability Initiative is very pleased to offer UBC graduate students the opportunity to work in a funded sustainability internship project this summer. Students are hired by UBC and receive $5,000 to work 250 project hours over the summer (the distribution of hours will be negotiated with project mentor). Applications are due Tuesday May 20, 2014.
