UBC TEDx Terry Talks looking for speakers – deadline Sept 27, 2013

The UBC Terry Project is thrilled to begin our search for this year’s TEDx Terry Talk speakers. Held November 2nd 2013, The TEDx Terry Talks are an independently organized, student-led TED conference, with 8 student speakers from a range of backgrounds and interests coming together to give the talk of their lives.

Do you (or someone you know) have something to say?
Donʼt miss this unique opportunity to speak to 350 of your peers, and many more online at http://www.terry.ubc.ca and potentially TED.com. We are looking for talks that are 18 minutes or less, about any subject matter you find compelling. For a sense of what previous students have spoken on, please visit: http://www.terry.ubc.ca/tedxterrytalks/.
Itʼs pretty simple to apply; weʼre not going to ask for much – just a video and a short application. Please check out http://www.terry.ubc.ca/tedxterrytalks/ for more details on where to submit your application. The application deadline is Friday September 27th, 2013.

Check out their Twitter for more info and updates!
