The University of British Columbia now ranks 25th among the world’s top 100 universities, according to the 2012 Times Higher Education Reputation Rankings. In the world’s largest academic opinion survey released today in London, U.K., UBC jumps from last year’s 31st to 25th rank. The 2012 Reputation Rankings are based on a survey of academic opinion, featuring 17,554 respondents from 137 countries. “UBC’s ranking reflects our strong commitment to international research collaboration and producing new knowledge that benefits Canada and the world,” said UBC President Stephen Toope.
