UPDATE – move went well with few problems reported!

Due to a migration to new servers by our third-party eResources Discovery provider, the eJournal Portal (our ejournal linking from the “Journal Titles” tab on the Library Homepage) and our Citation Linker (also known as UBC eLink – the page with a big blue button that links citations to full text) will be offline for 24 hours starting at 5:00 p.m. PST on Friday, February 8th.

Summon and the Catalogue will be partially affected. Only links that go directly to articles, journals, books, videos, etc. will work during this time.

Users can also use direct article links on Google Scholar during this time, but not UBC eLink.

Much more technical info HERE.

For additional assistance, please contact your nearest library branch, or report any problems via the Help Form.

Bookplates, otherwise referred to as ex-libris (From the books of..), are used to indicate ownership of a book. They are often personalized, artistic and indicative of the time or place of creation.

Images of bookplates are from books and collections donated to UBC Library, developed and maintained by UBC’s Rare Books and Special Collections.

Check out the rest of the collection here and let us know which ones are your favorites!
