    Dear Elaine and Sarah,

I really enjoyed the way you’ve interwoven these poems using ToonDoo. It’s certainly an easy and effective way to give the sense of call and response, and I agree that the speaker figures improve readability.

Your write up, as well, is clear and comprehensive, as is the assessment rubric.

I can think of many ways students might extend this activity using a range of applications beyond ToonDoo — this example would serve as an excellent catalyst to get them thinking about various possibilities.

Thanks very much, both, for your creative contribution!

    Best regards,

    Teresa
