The most absurd screed I have read today. Thanks for offering a the radical ingrate’s perspective. In fact, America is a wonderful place for immigrants and natives alike, give hard work and a positive attitude (optional), self-determination is possible. Which is likely why so many wish to hazard the trip to the U.S.A.

*Everywhere* else, Roy’s words are true: birth & wealth are destiny.

Roy misses the point: things can always be worse. In America, there is the chance of improvement.
