About six months ago Novak my boss told me to start blogging about my work activities… This is my first “work” related post.
One of the big projects we are working on is the move from Moveable Type to WordPress. This normally would be a straight forward thing for an individual blog but try this with a thousand… We have two great developers working on this and everything seems to be going as planned but snags keep arising. One I noticed yesturday when doing a WordPress to WordPress import (we are doing a MT->WP(verf)->WP(prod) workflow) is the stripping of embeds. WordPress includes them in the WRX file but seems to strip on import… has to be something basic but for now I am stumped.
