For this project, we wanted to see if Surrey has the space and the potential to house the next biggest mall in British Columbia, Canada. The current biggest mall in BC is Metropolis at Metrotown, Burnaby making it the third biggest in Canada. Metrotown has 1,795,591 sqft of retail space with a little over 360 stores and 28.7 million visitors annually. This allows Metrotown to generate around $838 per sqft. If we are able to identify any locations, we are expecting the new mall to do just as well as or possibly better!
