Welcome Aboard!

Welcome to Trans-Continental Transit Photography’s brand new blog website! Future updates of my online photo gallery, featuring over 20,000 photos of transit buses, trains and airplanes from different cities in Asia and North America, will be posted right here on a regular basis! For those who haven’t seen my website before, I invite you to take a moment and check out some of the photos taken by myself (Dave) and a good friend of mine, George Prior, an equally excellent photographer who is also very passionate about public transportation ! Public transit has always been a major component of my life, something that I grew up with and have always dominated my spare time after school and work! I started photographing buses with disposable cameras since I was 12 years old, when I used to live in Hong Kong before moving to Canada. Along the process of growing up and stepping into adolescence in Canada, I began to combine my interests in photography and public transit, ultimately became devoted into transit photography throughout my free time, just slightly before compiling all my photos into an online visual transit fleet database!  If you are interested in reading more about my story as a “transit enthusiast”, and what it really means to become a “transit enthusiast”, I encourage you to take a couple of minutes and read an interview report written by Translink’s Buzzer Blog!
