Period 6 Exam Schedule
The Period 6 exam schedules for both MBA & MM-OR modules have been posted on your Vista site: Sauder Masters Workshops – 2010 Full Time MBA under: Home Page› >Post-Core Modules> Module Exam Schedules.
Please note, as per the Examination Policy, all exams, whether FT or PT, must be sat at the time stated in the exam schedule. Exams may not be re-arranged to accommodate students’ travel plans, irrespective of the reason for travelling. Extensions may only be granted by the MBA & ECM Programs Office for medical reasons. Students must notify the MBA & ECM Programs Office (askmba@sauder.ubc.ca) prior to the start of the exam if they are too ill to write. A doctor’s note must be provided prior to the scheduling of a new exam date.
Any student with Examination Hardship defined as THREE or more exams within a 24-hour period should report this to the MBA & ECM Programs Office Programs Office (askmba@sauder.ubc.ca) by no later than Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Failure to notify the MBA& ECM Programs Office of 3 exams within 24 hours by the deadline given may result in students not being able to have an alternate exam sitting.

A quick reminder of the Graduate Breakout Room’s that will be available on a drop-in basis this Saturday November 12th, 2011:
The 1st year MBA class has booked all Graduate Breakout Rooms for Saturday, November 12th from 7am – 11pm to accommodate their class’ production of the MBA LipDub. If your project group needs a space to meet, please book a room in the Canaccord Learning Commons asap before they get booked by others.
Alternatively, the MBA & ECM Programs Office has booked several classrooms for group meetings. Please email askmba@sauder.ubc.ca with your name and the times you need a room on November 12th and we will assign a classroom to you.

Key Card Access Update
Please note that the new key card access restrictions have been postponed until early next week. Key card programming is available now at Accounts/Administration Room 447 in the Henry Angus Building.
Please note that new key card access restrictions will begin November 1st at 7:00am. Ensure that your card is properly programed in order for you to gain access to the MBA entrance to the corridor. The new hours are as follows:
Door from CA Hall into Graduate Student area:
Monday-Thursday 7:00am-7:00pm: Door will be open access, no key card required.
Monday-Thursday 7:00pm-11:00pm: Door will be key card access only.
Friday 7:00am-5:00pm: Door will be open access, no key card required.
Friday 5:00pm-11:00pm: Door will be key card access only
Saturday-Sunday & Holidays: Key card access required at all times.
The David Lam Corridor entrance will be programmed to key card access only during all days/times.
FT & PT MBA Students:
Students taking MBA Modules, please be reminded of the deadlines for adding & dropping modules:
Period 6 Full-Time MBA Modules:
- October 31, 2011: Last day to drop modules without a “W” standing through the Student Service Centre.
- November 1-7, 2011: Student Service Centre available for course withdrawals with a “W” standing.
- After November 7, 2011: Dropping of course not available.
Part-Time MBA Modules:
For modules that begin on Friday evenings, students can withdraw with no penalty via the Student Service Centre provided they do so prior to the start of the next class (i.e. after 4 hours of teaching.)
For modules that begin on Saturday or Sunday, students can withdraw with no penalty via the Student Service Centre provided they do so on the same day prior to the start of afternoon class (i.e. after 4 hours of teaching.)
