The Student Biotechnology Network is proud to present its 2010-2011 kick-off event “Building Biotech: Powering the BioEconomy”, a part of National Biotechnology Week.
Building Biotech is our annual kick-off event which serves to educate students by illuminating on an exciting area of the life sciences industry. This inspirational and interactive evening offers students an opportunity to expand their knowledge of biotechnology from experts on the topic at hand. This year with Building Biotech: Powering the BioEconomy, we hope to create student awareness of BioProducts, BioEnergy and other clean technologies, encouraging and inspiring students to follow career paths within this growing sector.

Economics Pre-Core Notices
Students taking the Economics Pre-Core, please go to Preparation & General Program Information › Program Preparation (ISP and Pre-Core) › Pre Core in Vista, print off the five lecture notes posted near the top of the page and bring them to class.
Also, students taking this course should bring their laptops to class.
First Tuition Payment
This is a reminder that your first tuition payment is due by no later than Wednesday, 08 September 2010.
Your initial $2,500 deposit will be credited toward your first installment and you can veiw the amount due by visiting the Student Service Centre (https://ssc.adm.ubc.ca/sscportal/servlets/SRVSSCFramework).
Please note that your tuition payments are to be made through the Student Service Centre (not the web site where you made your deposit).
