We would like to encourage you to consider MBA House for your student residence while you are in the UBC MBA.

MBA House was designed to be a place where residents can gather together to share their experiences and ideas. MBA House is available exclusively to incoming Sauder graduate students. Residents are exposed to business networking opportunities and to an environment supporting lifelong friendships through day-to-day interaction in the classroom, around campus and through a shared residential community.

MBA House is located at 3385 Wesbrook Mall in Wesbrook Place — to the south of 16th Avenue, bounded by Pacific Spirit Park to the east and Marine Drive to the southwest – walking distance to UBC MBA classes. The neighbourhood is a vibrant and active place with a supermarket, a community centre, a new school, and a variety of other shops and services.   As a distinct and complete community set within a forest, Wesbrook Place will be home to people from many cultures, life-stages and occupations.

Please note that all incoming students, regardless of whether they already have a UBCcard, will need to obtain a UBC iClass card.  Instructions on how to obtain your UBC iClass card are posted in the “Preparation & General Program Information” folder on your homepage under “Student/Library Cards”.

A $10,000 bursary is being offered by the Bob and Judy Hager Family Fund in conjunction with the Minerva Foundation and the Sauder School of Business, to a female student pursuing a Masters Degree in Business Administration. The MBA Office will be registering you for all your courses during your program. This means that you will not have to register for anything for the Fall/Winter semester, it will all be done for you!! We will register you beginning in late June 2010 in the following two courses for September:

– MBA Core: BA 500C

– Career Development Program (CDP): BA 520
