This is a reminder regarding the English Language Support Services that are available on campus, should you feel you need some assistance with your written or oral skills.
Students whose first language is English can access these services on campus:
UBC Writing Centre
- For details of courses, please visit the UBC Writing Centre website.
- The Writing Centre provides a variety of Tutoring Services at no charge for UBC students.
Toastmasters
- The Sauder MBA Society has a chapter of Toastmasters, called Sauder Speaks – for further information, please see the MBAS website.
Speakers of English as a Second Language have access to a free one-on-one tutoring and editing service for MBA coursework until the end of period 3 in May 2012 in addition to the services above – please refer to the Program Resources>International Student Resources>English Language Support Services folder in the Sauder Masters Workshops – 2011 Full Time MBA Vista site for more details.
Please allow a 24-hour turnaround for any work submitted for editing on this site.
Any student wishing to have an English Language Tutor should also go to the above section on Vista and follow instructions to request a tutor.
