Student Roster & Release Survey – please complete by June 15th

Each year, the MBA & ECM Programs Office creates a student roster that contains a photo and some information about each student.  This is a tool that allows faculty, staff and your fellow classmates to get to know you. This is an example of a roster entry:

Please enter your roster details here by June 15th so that we have time to compile the roster for the start of the program.

When you enter your details we also ask you for permission to use any photos or videos we take of you while you are in the program for promotional purposes, so please answer that question as well.

Any queries on the above can be directed to askmba@sauder.ubc.ca

MBA Prep Assessment Tests – due by June 8th

Have you started preparing for your MBA studies?  The MBA Prep course outlines and Prep assessment tests are posted on your Connect site – take the tests and see if you need to register for the Prep Program.  Your grades for these tests are not recorded and are not graded by the instructors you will see in the MBA program, so there’s no risk!  Your results on the tests are confidential, and are meant to be used as a tool to help you focus on where you need to brush up on your skills and knowledge.

Feel free to study for the Prep tests, but consider the tests themselves to be closed book.  There is no time limit once you start a test, but it’s a good idea to treat it as you would any exam – this is the best way to really test your existing knowledge.
You are required to take the assessment tests for any MBA Prep course that you are not registered in. (If you have already registered, then no need to take the tests, although you may wish to do so just to gauge your ability level).

Please take the tests before June 8th, and register for any MBA Prep courses that your test results indicate would be helpful for you. Any questions about the MBA Prep courses can be directed to askmba@sauder.ubc.ca, and you can hear current students speak to the benefits of MBA Prep in this video.
