My name’s Cameron Morrell and I’ll be doing an oral communications workshop with you either next Monday (Dec. 10) or Tuesday (Dec. 11). I’ll be working with groups of two teams at a time – each group-pairing has been allocated a time slot on either the Monday or the Tuesday. The goal of these workshops is to polish your presenting skills and to help you create slides with impact.

We’ll do a partial run-through of your presentation – there probably won’t be time to go through it all as each workshop will only last 90 minutes. So, to get the most out of our time, I’d like you to bring the following:

1. An executive summary of your business plan that’s no longer than 1 page
2. Your team’s deck of PowerPoint slides
3. Questions – we’ll talk about anything that’s on your mind about the challenges of presenting to an audience.
