A different view on approaching environmental issues Come join us as we host Bjorn Lomborg, an “skeptical environmentalist” and Director of the Copenhagen Consensus which looks to advance global welfare. Bjorn is the author of “The Skeptical Environmentalist: Measuring the Real State of the World” and has been a controversial figure in environmental economics due to his beliefs that “Global warming is by no means our main environmental threat” and that we should use a cost-benefit analysis when prioritizing what environmental challenges to tackle first. When: June 3rd, 12:30 – 1:30pm Doors will close promptly at 12:35pm. Click here to register for the event. Click here to watch Bjorn speaking at TED. |
