Here is a summary of the key remaining dates in your program for your reference.
If you haven’t already, now is a good time to double check that you are meeting all the credit requirements for both your degree as well as your track. Further information as per this blog post.
All the academic components of your program will be finished as of 5:30pm on Wednesday Dec 4th (note the change from 10pm that night). We do recommend that you attend the MBA Society Gala on Saturday Dec 7th as well as it is generally a fantastic evening and a really nice way to wrap up your program.
Please direct any questions about the above to askmba@sauder.ubc.ca
If any students are still interested in taking the BAFI 509 Debt, Financial Distress and Strategic Reorganizations content in P7, Ron Giammarino has agreed to teach it as a Directed Studies course: BAFI 590, 1.5 credits. Please contact Ron directly to let him know you are interested and to enquire about the class format and meeting times: ron.giammarino@sauder.ubc.ca.
If you decide to go ahead with taking this Directed Study please fill out the attached Directed Study paperwork with Ron and return to Cherry at the office so that she can register you.
Please note that while Directed Studies cannot usually be counted towards your Track Elective credits, in this case we will make an exception to the policy since the content will be so similar – so FIN Track students can count this as a Track Elective towards their FIN Track Requirements.
Please direct any administrative questions regarding this to askmba@sauder.ubc.ca
