Help us outnumber the Faculty of Applied Science and support the United Way!
Marc Palange, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science, is challenging the Sauder School or Business to a participation race to gather as many students, faculty and staff as possible to join in the United Way Turkey 2KM Trot fun run or walk:
Date:
Wednesday, October 8th (note this date is during exam week, so if your exam schedule allows, please consider coming out to burn off some exam stress!!)
Run start time:
The trot starts at 12:30 p.m. and the walk begins immediately following the run
Cost:
There is no cost to join. The major fundraising portion of this event will be done between Deans. The challenge is that the Dean of Applied Science will pay $1 for every person we have over and above the number of participants they have. Last year, the Faculty of Applied Science had 50 participants and we know we can outdo that!
Registration:
- To get a sense of numbers, e-mail Debra Harris: debra.harris@sauder.ubc.ca with your name and program of study (ie: MM or MBA)
- To count actual participants, same day registration will be conducted and starts at noon
