Career Centre Updates
Current Student Spotlight
Isha had this to say about CareerCruising:
“While perusing the MBAN Careers Blog, I came across a plethora of useful resources and tools made available for our cohort, and especially the tool, careercruising.com is very enticing and well-suited to our needs as it lets students like us explore their interests in a directed manner and aligns those interests with viable career paths, thus helping us explore our options and also create a detailed plan on how to achieve our goals. I found this tool to be very different and more serviceable also because it uses a holistic approach from building self-awareness through various tests and at the same time providing information about how each job would look like, hence assisting in developing a comprehensive career plan”
CareerCruising is a great resource that will help you understand your skills, interests and learning styles, and how they match up with potential careers. There are two assessments available through CareerCruising; we encourage you to complete both, and come in for coaching to understand the results.
How to access career cruising:
- Go to careercruising.com
- Log in information:
- Username: “UBC”
- Password: “careers”
- Click on “Log In to My Plan” (top right corner)
- Click “Create My Plan”
- Fill in the information and create a Career Cruising profile
- Use the assessments and go over your results with Nicole!
