Alumni Connections

The UBC Sauder Alumni Engagement (AE) office is a great resource to help you engage with a global network of over 40,000 UBC Sauder alumni.

There are over 1,200 alumni volunteers willing to help enrich your education experience and professional development. Alumni will often contribute by speaking at conferences, leading workshops, networking at events and much more.

During your MBAN Program

Alumni Connections for individual students

The Alumni Engagement office works in partnership with the MBAN Careers team at the Hari B. Varshney Business Career Centre to support your connectivity plans. Please reach out to your coach, Whitney Friesen, to devise a plan and start having meaningful connections with the UBC Sauder MBA alumni community.

For the MBAN Student Society, Clubs & Groups:

Alumni Volunteers:

Please contact Bonnie Lee, Volunteer & Student Program Officer at bonnie.lee@sauder.ubc.ca or 604.827.4616, if you are seeking alumni volunteers for the following roles:

  • Guest speakers
  • Workshop presenters
  • Case judges or coaches
  • Networking delegates
  • Event attendees

Gifts for Alumni:

Generally, student societies, clubs and groups should budget for gifts to be given to alumni volunteers. The AE office may be able to provide alumni gifts depending on the quantity you need and what is currently available.
