The Business Career Centre is your number one resource what comes to career transition, promotion strategies, or when pursuing a career change.  When you need help preparing for you upcoming performance review, assessing options outside of your current career path or getting ready for your upcoming interview – the Career Centre is there to help. You can access our services starting on January 6th, 2018 when the program starts.

CliftonStrengths Assessment

As a preparation for the first Residency we ask you to take the following online Strengths assessment prior to the residency week. Please keep your individual results available (either printed/soft copy) during the residency week since they are used during the programming.

1. Visit Gallup Strengths Center here
2. Copy and paste the access code CX58FG39GY47NP34 into the available field, and then click Continue
3. Follow the onscreen instructions to create a Gallup Strengths Center account
4. Once registered, you will be able to take the CliftonStrengths assessment. Please give yourself 45 minutes of uninterrupted time to complete it

Sauder Business Cards

Are you ready to network with professionals and recruiters?

Business cards are a must in order to leave a lasting impression, so make sure you order them early!  If you are interested in ordering business cards you are welcome to use the following template that is created by the Sauder Marketing and Communication division:

A suggested local print shop that you are able to order your business cards through is the Made to Print shop.

Please note that as per the UBC Sauder School of Business UBC Marks Usage Guidelines for Student Communications: “It is not permissible for UBC Sauder Students to use UBC Marks, including UBC Sauder Logos/Marks, on their business cards unless such business card was officially issued by UBC for the purpose of indicating the UBC Sauder Student’s employment capacity at UBC, and even in such circumstances the UBC Sauder Student should not use the officially issued UBC business cards for users where they are not acting in their official UBC administrative or academic capacity (“Non-UBC Related Activities”).” If you have any questions about the Usage guidelines, please contact the RHL Office.
