class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#3e5665\">A year has passed since COVID-19 protocols were first initiated around the world. People\u2019s homes have become more than a place to lay one\u2019s head at the end of the day, but rather living, working, teaching, and learning spaces. With this project, we use oral history to uncover ideas of \u201chome\u201d during the pandemic. However, \u201chome\u201d is conceptually hard to pin down. \u201cHome\u201d has been investigated through a wide variety of lenses, from anthropology and sociology to architecture and folklore, which begs the question: is \u201chome\u2026 (a) place(s), (a) space(s), feeling(s), practices, and\/or an active state of being in the world?\u201d (Mcgregor, 2012, p. 62). How do you define something inherently ambiguous? Therefore, rather than ask \u201cwhat is \u2018home\u2019?,\u201d we instead wonder \u201cwhat might \u2018home\u2019 be?.\u201d Through a series of three interviews, people tackle their own concept of home and recollect how navigating the pandemic over the past year has influenced their experiences and meanings regarding home.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A year has passed since COVID-19 protocols were first initiated around the world.
