We do not recommend using a tablet only as many programs do not interface well with a tablet and it can be more difficult to produce assignments.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h5><strong><span style=\"color: #78be00;\">BORROWING LAPTOPS<\/span><br \/><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Laptops are available to borrow for up to 4 hours on a first-come first served basis from the Service Desk at the entrance to the <a href=\"https:\/\/mybcom.sauder.ubc.ca\/know-sauder\/clc\/book-and-equipment-borrowing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Canaccord Learning Commons<\/a>. Laptops are also available from other <a href=\"http:\/\/services.library.ubc.ca\/library-facilities\/technology-borrowing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UBC libraries<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h5><strong><span style=\"color: #78be00;\">COMPUTER LABS<\/span><br \/><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>There are two small computer labs in the basement of the Sauder School of Business. A representative from this team will determine if approvals can be granted, and give direction on meeting the visual identity guidelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><strong>STUDENT PRESENTATION TEMPLATES<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>UBC Sauder Logo\/Marks may only be used on a project presentation by UBC Sauder Students using the template provided by the UBC Sauder Marketing &amp; Communications Department (featured below), if the following conditions are met:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>The UBC Sauder Student has undertaken the project as part of the academic requirements of their program at UBC Sauder under the direct supervision of a UBC Sauder faculty member; and<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>The UBC Sauder Student has met all other requirements associated with the project (including such matters as securing ethics approvals).\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As a condition of this permission, the UBC Sauder Student must ensure that it is clear to the audience that the project is being undertaken by a UBC Sauder Student for a specific UBC Sauder course, and that the conduct of the project is being supervised by a UBC Sauder faculty member, by providing the name and email of the UBC Sauder faculty member. Communal tables where quiet conversation is permitted are available on the main floor for individuals and small groups. Both the main and upper floors feature Silent Study areas.
