Public Service Work-Able Internship Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">The Work-Able Internship Program is a twelve month BC Public Service work experience program for recent post-secondary graduates with disabilities. This unique program provides learning, coaching and mentorship throughout the internship and interns will gain valuable skills and public service experience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>B.C. Public Service Work-Able Internship Program Full-Time<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><strong>Salary:<\/strong> $1,627.65 Bi-weekly<br \/>\n<strong>Locations:<\/strong> Victoria, Vancouver<br \/>\n<strong>Length:<\/strong> Temporary Position from September 1, 2015 to August 31, 2016<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Successful applicants will be\u00a0offered extensive training, growth, and development opportunities, a competitive salary and a balance between work and life commitments.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">To be considered for this opportunity, students must submit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0Resume Profile<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0Personal Essay (750 words or less no less than 500)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">To be eligible for the Work-Able Internship Program you must:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Self-identify as a person with a disability<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Reside in B.C.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Have an under-graduate or graduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution within 2 years of Internship start date of September 2015.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Successful candidates may be asked for supporting documentation regarding their disability to assist in providing accommodation supports.
