When it comes to higher education for promising scholars, we don&#8217;t want anything to stand in the way. That&#8217;s why\u00a0Google is\u00a0proud to support the work of Lime Connect since 2008. Google is committed to helping the innovators of the future make the most of their talents by providing scholarships and networking retreats for computer science students with disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>Recipients of the 2018\u00a0Google Lime Scholarship will each receive a scholarship for the 2018-2019\u00a0academic year. Selected students will also be invited to attend the annual Google Scholars&#8217; Retreat at the Googleplex in Mountain View, California, in Summer 2018. Candidates will also be considered for software engineering internship opportunities with Google.\u00a0 Scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of candidates&#8217; academic background and a demonstrated passion for computer science &#8211; $10,000<strong>\u00a0for those studying in the US<\/strong>\u00a0and<strong>\u00a0$5,000<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>for those studying in Canada<\/strong>\u00a0(based on tuition costs).<\/p>\n<p>The deadline to apply is\u00a0Sunday, December 10, 2017, at\u00a011:59pm\u00a0PST!<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.limeconnect.com\/programs\/page\/google-lime-scholarship<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Access to knowledge is our thing.
