All Arts Co-op Students are invited to join ACSA!

Why should I join ACSA?

You have already made a great life decision by joining co-op. Want to make another one? Join the Arts Co-op Students’ Association! ACSA is a peer-led community for students in the Arts Co-op program – we’re here to support you throughout your co-op journey and connect you with opportunities to enhance your co-op experience.

Benefits of joining ACSA:

Networking Opportunities: We work closely with the Arts Co-op Alumni Network and are committed to bring you networking opportunities. Through our events, you can meet alumni to find out where co-op got them to, as well as talk to potential employers. It’s a great chance to build professional connections that will benefit your career throughout co-op and after graduation.

Professional Development: Looking for some extra skills to make your job applications stand out? We have the best workshops around! Is there a specific workshop you want to see happen? Send us an email and we’ll try our best to make it happen!

Socials: Co-op can be stressful – which is all the more reason to have fun! Let’s relax, distress, and let loose with socials like board game night, bowling night, and pub nights!

Make New Friends: Because no one can truly understand the joy of nailing the STARR formula during an interview or why you check Simplicity so often except for your fellow co-op students. ACSA is the perfect chance to connect with people who have been in your shoes.

Bonus Benefit for New Students: Are you new to the Arts Co-op Program? Looking for a little extra guidance from someone who’s been through the process? Join the Mentorship Program! You’ll be paired with a senior co-op student or alumni mentor who can provide invaluable support when you’re trying to secure your first co-op work term.

How much does it cost?

Membership costs $10. By becoming a member, you get priority access to all our networking events, workshops, and socials, and you get to attend the events for FREE (or nearly free). For non-members, fees will vary for each event. Networking events can cost $10-$20, but as an ACSA member, you’ll have access to multiple networking events, workshops, and social nights! We tend to have free food at our events. Need we say more?

Okay, you’ve convinced me! How do I sign up?

All you have to do is drop by the Arts Co-op office.

Awesome! When’s the next event?
